Do I need a TEFL/TESOL certificate to apply?
Not necessarily. If you don’t have one yet, our packages include 120 hours of online TESOL training so you’re fully certified before you start teaching. If you’re already certified, internationally accredited TESOL/TEFL certifications are accepted.
Is a college degree required for the internship?
Yes, most placements — including Thailand — require a bachelor’s degree along with a recognised TEFL/TESOL certification to be eligible for a teaching visa and work permit.
Do I need previous teaching experience?
No prior teaching experience is required for our Thailand KET Program. Our Internship Preparation course and full training with university-level instructors will get you ready to teach with confidence.
What support do I get once I arrive?
You’ll receive continuous in-country support, an orientation period, visa guidance, a Thai SIM card, accident insurance, and relocation assistance, plus free shared accommodation during training.
Will I get paid during my internship?
Yes. Depending on your placement, you’ll receive a monthly living allowance or salary — for Thailand, this is typically 30,000–36,000 THB per month.
How long is the internship and is it flexible?
You can choose a 6-month placement or a full school year, with one-semester contracts also available if you need more flexibility around your schedule.
