ABOUT TEACHING IN COSTA RICA

To get hired to teach in Costa Rica, you will need a TEFL certificate. A 4 -year college degree is not required but strongly preferred. Be immersed in the rich culture of Costa Rica during our unique cultural orientation experience. Eligibility

Eligibility includes minimum age 24-55 degree requirements are required for Vietnam, English proficiency, background check clearance, and suitability for new or experienced teachers. We will match you with a school that most closely meets your preferences, but we cannot guarantee that your preferences can be met

Investment

Full tuition for the 4-week Costa Rica program is $1895 including training materials and certificate. Monthly start dates are available. Additional costs include accommodation, meals, and personal expenses.

What you will learn

The 120-hour TESOL program covers teaching methodology, lesson planning, classroom management, phonology, grammar awareness, and observed teaching practice with real learners.

Accommodation

Accommodation options include shared apartments, homestays, or private rentals. We help trainees find safe and affordable housing. Estimated monthly living costs range from $1000 a month. Accommodation Provided During TESOL Course

Accreditation

The TESOL certificate is fully accredited and recognized globally by UK Ofqual allowing graduates to teach English in Vietnam and internationally.

Hands-on Pre-departure Support

Receive one-on-one support for obtaining and processing all necessary paperwork for interviews, visas, and work permits. Interviews are set up before you leave your country, so you know which school you will be placed at before your fly. We work with a variety of school types, including international schools and English language schools

Competitive Salary and Benefits

Most teaching jobs available earn $700 to $1600 per month for just 20 to 30 hours per week! Many placements are in San Jose, but there are placement opportunities throughout Costa Rica.
