Cambodia Launches E-Arrival Scheme Starting July 1, 2024

New Update: Cambodia Launches e-Arrival Scheme Starting July 1, 2024

Exciting news for all travelers heading to Cambodia! Beginning next month, Cambodia will introduce the new e-Arrival (CeA) scheme to simplify and improve the arrival process for tourists, expats, and Cambodian nationals.

Key Information: Mandatory Online Application: All arrivals, including those with valid visas, must complete an online e-immigration application within 7 days before arrival. This application can be accessed via the new mobile app at www.arrival.gov.kh.

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Registration: Travelers must take a photo and upload their passport information.
  2. Complete E-Arrival Card: This replaces the old paper-based immigration, health, and customs declaration forms.
  3. Generate QR Code: After completing the application, a QR code will be generated. Travelers should save this QR code on their phones or print it out to present at immigration.

Technical Issues: If travelers cannot complete the process beforehand, tablets will be available at immigration for on-site application.

No Charges: Registering is completely free. There is no charge for filling in the e-Arrival Card through the official website or mobile application.
