Duration & Assessment

Q. Is there an exam?

A. No formal exams. Submitted assignments are evaluated phase by phase and detailed feedback is provided to help you identify and improve on any areas of development.

Q. What is the duration of the course?

A. Bachelor of Education programmes run between 18 and 36 months depending on the course chosen. Masters programmes are 12 months in duration.

Q. When will I receive my certificate?

A. Once all assignment phases are complete, you are assigned a final project to be completed within two months. After submitting your thesis and passing the final evaluation, your certificate is awarded. Degrees can also be legalised via The Hague Apostille or Embassy Legalisation.

Q. Is teaching practice mandatory?

A. No — teaching practice is optional, though it is a valuable addition. ACT can provide a recommendation letter to help you arrange access to a nearby school. Working teachers can complete their TP at their own school.

Q. How do I complete teaching practice in online mode?

A. If you can arrange access to a local school, we provide a recommendation letter from your trainer to help you gain permission from the school authority. Working teachers can complete Teaching Practice within their own schools.

Q. Who awards my degree certificate?

A. TEFL Freedom partners with ACT in academic collaboration with European International University (EIU – Paris). All Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are awarded by EIU upon successful completion of the programme.

Q. Will schools accept my certificate?

A. Yes. International schools actively prefer ACT-certified candidates as the qualification is globally recognised and acknowledged worldwide.

Q. Do you provide job placement assistance?

Q. What is the Pre & Primary Teachers Training Course about?

A. The PPTTC is designed for teachers who aspire to teach from Lower Kindergarten up to Standard V, covering learners aged two to twelve years.

Q. What is the mode of instruction and learning?

A. All instruction is delivered in English through our online platform. You receive a unique login giving you 24/7 access to all study materials, which can also be saved or printed as needed.

Q. What is the training mode?

A. The training is delivered entirely online. Distance learning is an authorised method under French National Education authorities and does not classify EBU as a purely online institution.

Q. Does the course include video content?

A. Yes. Videos feature real-life in-class teaching presentations, giving you genuine classroom exposure throughout your studies.

Q. Can I also teach at primary level?

A. Yes. You can teach from Class One to Class Five, covering learners aged seven to eleven years.

Eligibility & Entry

Q. Who is eligible to apply?

A. Anyone with a 10+2 qualification can apply for Certificate and Diploma courses. A graduation degree is required for PG Diploma and MA courses. Working teachers are also welcome to upgrade their qualifications.

Q. Can I directly enrol in a PG Diploma course?

A. Yes, provided you hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.

Q. Is this a government-recognised programme?

A. This is an internationally recognised programme accepted worldwide. ACT certification qualifies you to teach both in India and internationally.

Q. What English level is required?

A. IELTS 5.0 or equivalent is required. At least 55% in English at High School level is desired. High school study conducted in English is also accepted.
