Job Description

About the Ace Math Honors program (American pre-algebra and algebra level):

• Content: Teach courses based on American pre-algebra and algebra knowledge to secondary-level students, most of whom are based in the USA. 
• Class Schedule: Fixed-schedule classes with enrolled students, once a week, 18 weeks for one semester starting on January 13th, 2025.
• Curriculum: provided by LingoAce
• Platform: LingoAce Online Classroom

Payment: $40 USD per hour, $60 USD per class (90 minutes).  The more group classes you take, the more stable your income could be (eg. one group class can earn up to $1080 USD for one semester)

Education & Experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field
• Experience teaching pre-algebra, or algebra at the middle school level
• Native English speaker from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, or New Zealand

Preferred Experience:

• Strong content knowledge in mathematics
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring students
• Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred
• A degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
